BonePage.com proudly supports The Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to suicide prevention among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth.  The Trevor Project provides life-saving and life-affirming services such as crisis intervention and suicide prevention, offering support through a free and confidential hotline, digital communities, and advocacy initiatives. 

The Trevor Project plays a vital role in supporting the gay community, providing essential resources and intervention services to combat the unique challenges faced by gay, bisexual, and bi-curious men. These men often endure significant social stigma and discrimination, including family rejection, bullying, and societal prejudice, which contribute to higher rates of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.

According to The Trevor Project, gay and bisexual men are more than three times as likely to attempt suicide compared to their heterosexual peers due to these stressors. The Trevor Project offers a lifeline through its crisis intervention services, including a 24/7 helpline, text, and chat support, providing immediate, affirming assistance to those in need. By advocating for policy changes and educating the public, The Trevor Project also works to reduce stigma and foster acceptance, creating a safer and more supportive environment for gay men. Supporting The Trevor Project helps ensure that these individuals have access to the care and affirmation necessary to thrive, promoting mental health and well-being within the gay male community​.
